R.STAHL Remote I/O

R. STAHL, the leader in explosion protection, is pleased to offer their Hazardous Location Remote I/O systems. These systems can be certified for Division1, and do not require explosion proof enclosures, or purge, which is typical of other brands. The units themselves have built in intrinsically safe galvanic isolators, saving you time and money to engineer, fabricate and install a separate barrier / isolator cabinet. Our solution reduces the foot print in the control room, thereby reducing energy costs for control room operations. Extended diagnostics and status messages make processes more transparent and give warning of failures in due time. Maintenance is simpler because the modules are hot swappable, and do not interfere with the operation of other modules on the bus. The innovative low-power design does not only save energy but also significantly extends lifetime – even at higher ambient temperatures. Units are available for NEC, CEC, ATEX, and IECEx.

Configure Remote I/O

This tool is designed to build basic NEC, CEC intrinsically safe remote IO systems. If a more complex solution is needed, additional requirements need to be indicated on the comment section at the end of the configurator tool (redundant CPM, extended temp range, international certifications, mounting requirements, etc).
